Meet Georgia, Our Mascot

So here we are in a new city, away from a lot of our old friends and supporters... what's a new startup to do for inspiration?

Get a 1967 Mustang Fastback to build and restore into an inspirational design statement for our company you say? We agree... and so today we took delivery of our on-the-side project car. It looked good in the pics sent out of Griffin, Georgia, but upon delivery we realized there was a lot of work that needed to be done on this bad boy...

Aside from paint that looks like it was clear coated by a blind man, and then never wet-sanded or buffed---the undercarriage and body is a complete nightmare. Here's a quote from the first mechanic in Chicago that took a look at it: "I had to take the car off the lift because the only thing holding it together is the roof. I don't know how to tell you this, but the entire frame is f@#$@#. If you drive this car you will probably die."

Well that's a great start! And here are some pics of what lies ahead of us:

You can't tell from this pic but the gas tank is crushed and entire rear frame is rotten

Destroyed Front Rails

Don't even ask me what this is.
This random assortment of "S@#$" fell out as we took things apart and dug deeper.

This will obviously be a great break from coding. Working with your hands keeps your mind sharp --- and after we're done with this project we'll most likely be able to get jobs as Mustang restoration specialists if our startup fails. We'll make sure to keep you posted with updates as we continue our work.

What does a '67 Mustang have to do with deeda Inc., and technology companies? Stay tuned for the next post.
