At deeda Inc., we believe that devices are only as good as the multimedia management software that they run on. That's why after completing development on our proximity touch device hardware in 2005, we spent the following year researching what was needed to create a better multimedia management application that would interface with our devices and reside on a user's desktop. deeda Desktop is our open platform solution.
Aside from managing all your pictures, videos and podcasts on your home computer, deeda Desktop also syncs with your deeda.com account. This allows deeda Desktop to pull in your favorite websites, articles, blogs, news feeds and also all the latest information from your deeda.com social network. Online or offline, you'll love viewing your friends, updating your social network profile, writing messages and adding new pictures and videos directly from our desktop application. A simple drag and drop of photos and videos in deeda Desktop and they're automatically converted and uploaded to your deeda.com account. Best of all, by always staying in sync between your devices and deeda.com, deeda Desktop lets you view and interact with parts of your social network even when you're traveling or offline.
Our unique visualization interfaces are also built in to deeda Desktop and allow you not only to visualize your home multimedia, but also link, share and view Semantic information about your data with your friend. Use our linking and bundling process to quickly associate a group of pictures with a song that reminds you of those pictures. Link a video or podcast that relates to a document you're working on. Either way these Semantic associations can easily be shared with your friends, family or a specific group that is a part of your deeda.com community. deeda Desktop's visual linking and bundling abilities makes searching your home computer so much faster and easier. |
